“My work explores the intersection of satire, rebellion, and identity as ways of survival through the fictional framework of Rat Bastard University (RBU). Operating as a Chrome Renaissance, RBU is shaped by conspiracy, power dynamics, and autobiographical influence that function as a multiverse of branding, archetypes, and institutional parody. Using a Midwestern queer perspective, the project examines how dominant systems condition identity by persuading culture into existence through myth, spectacle, and consumption.”
